Details of the Job/Internship

BMR Legal is launching hiring for its second batch of Research Associates, with a joining date of June 1, 2026.

Role and Responsibilities

• Research and analyze global tax developments, specifically those involving the OECD, UN, EU, and Inclusive Frameworks (IFs).
• Support technical work on BEPS 2.0, transfer pricing, and the interpretation of various tax treaties.
• Track and interpret ongoing Indian and international tax reforms to assess their impact on current frameworks.
• Conduct detailed judicial and legislative research across domestic tax and transfer pricing precedents.
• Contribute to the drafting of research notes, scholarly articles, and policy submissions.
• Assist in thought leadership initiatives and high-impact submissions to regulatory bodies.
• Prepare comprehensive briefs on global legislative changes for senior partners and clients.
• Analyze dispute resolution trends and outcomes in the international tax space.

Eligibility

• LL.B, LL.M, or a CA degree is mandatory.
• Final-year law students who have completed their exams and are available for full-time work from June are eligible.
• Strong interest in practical tax advisory and the evolution of global tax policy.
• Excellent research, drafting, and analytical skills with a proactive mindset.
• Strong academic background in law, tax, accounting, economics, or public policy.
• High level of attention to detail and ability to handle complex technical data.

Salary/Stipend
