Details of the Job/Internship
DAKSH is hiring a Research Associate with at least two years of demonstrable work experience to join their team in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Institutional Engagement (50%): Conduct interviews, field visits, and stakeholder consultations with courts, tribunals, and governments.
- Project Coordination: Manage external stakeholders and proactively track project tasks and deliverables.
- Networking: Cultivate relationships with judges, lawyers, government officials, and researchers.
- Research and Writing: Produce content on access to justice, technology, data, and the impact of law on court administration.
- Public Discourse: Engage in public advocacy by publishing articles, blog posts, and op-eds.
Eligibility
- An undergraduate degree in law is mandatory.
- Minimum of two years of demonstrable work experience, including at least one year of litigation experience.
- Strong project management, research, writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to navigate fieldwork and thrive in dynamic work environments.
- A deep passion for making an impact in the field of judicial reforms.
- Knowledge of Kannada is preferred.
