Indian National Association of Legal Professionals (INALP) भारतीय राष्ट्रीय विधिक वृत्तिक संस्था ® is a non-regulatory, non-political, not-for-profit, independent and a membership-driven legal industry organization. INALP aims to represent the legal professionals of India on the global platform while promoting the rule of law and serving the society. INALP aims to focus & deliberate on issues that are of global importance and more practical, shaping the course of development & economics. INALP also envisage to provide solid policy recommendations to various governments, inter-governmental organisations and multi-lateral institutions on various issues through discourses & interventions with its global affiliates.

Details of the Job/Internship

Indian National Association of Legal Professionals (INALP) is looking for highly motivated, qualified lawyer, to join immediately, on a contractual basis in the position of: Research Fellow – Law and Policy.

Eligibility

• Candidate must be an Indian national and should be a qualified lawyer in India.
• Candidate must have excellent legal professional skills, with a demonstrated interest and/or experience in international law, international trade and climate law, investment law, and related fields.
• Candidate must also have strong written and spoken communication, and presentation skills in English. 
• Candidate must be able to provide sound and rigorous legal and policy analysis, and must also have strong research, drafting and legal analytical skills, specifically in the fields listed above. 
• Strong preference will be given to candidates who have experience specialized masters in above related fields. 
• Must not be more than 35 years of age at the time of recruitment. 
• Must hold a master’s degree in law [LL.M.] or public policy. 
• Consistently good academic record with at least 55% (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) at bachelor's and master's levels. 
• Must have a minimum of 2-year experience. 
• Relevant work experience or research and studies produced in international trade, international climate law, economic diplomacy, international law, investment, public policy, or a related discipline is desirable.

Salary/Stipend

75,000 INR per month
