Details of the Job/Internship

Areness is seeking dedicated and inquisitive Research Interns to join their team. As a Research Intern at Areness, you will have the opportunity to work on research publication projects, conduct in-depth studies of varied legal topics, and contribute to their mission of bringing legal innovation to India.  They seek candidates who are passionate about research, data analysis, and problem-solving. 

Duration: One-year Internship or may get extended

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive literature reviews to gather relevant research articles, reports, and resources related to our research focus areas. 
• Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data using various research methods and tools. Summarize findings and insights. 
• Collaborate with our research team to design and conduct experiments or studies, including data collection, data entry, and data validation. 
• Maintain detailed records of research activities, methodologies, and findings. Prepare research reports and summaries for internal use. 
• Work closely with team members to brainstorm research ideas, share insights, and contribute to project discussions. 
• Prepare and deliver presentations of research findings to team members and supervisors, as needed. 
• Assist with administrative tasks related to research projects, such as scheduling meetings, managing research materials, and organizing data. 
• Stay updated with the latest research methodologies, tools, and technologies to enhance your research skills. 

Eligibility

• Currently enrolled in three years LLB/LLM, or recent graduate of Law from a reputed/recognized national university. 
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Proficiency in using research tools and software. 
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team. 
• Detail-oriented and highly organized. 
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges. 
• Prior research experience is a plus but not required.
