Details of the Job/Internship

Neeti Shodh is hiring a Research Trainee to join their office remotely. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct secondary research on legal, economic, governance, and policy topics.
• Prepare short notes, summaries, case briefs, and thematic outlines.
• Assist in developing research inputs for policy explainers, opinion pieces, and internal documents.
• Support creation of knowledge products such as charts, tables, and issue notes.
• Ensure clarity, accuracy, and coherence in written work.
• Participate in weekly learning sessions and respond to editorial feedback.
• Contribute to ongoing research series and LinkedIn publications.

Eligibility

• Students or graduates in Law, Public Policy, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, or allied fields.
• Strong interest in research, writing, and public affairs.
• Basic familiarity with research methods and socio-legal issues.
• Good command over English writing.
• Ability to meet weekly deadlines and respond positively to mentorship.
• Prior research experience is preferred but not mandatory.
