Details of the Job/Internship

Kalamandir Jewellers is hiring a Risk Compliance Officer to join their corporate team in Surat.

Role and Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage full-spectrum regulatory compliance to ensure all policies align with current legal standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance programs across all retail and airport outlets.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in internal processes and financial operations.
• Monitor internal controls and perform periodic audits to ensure adherence to company protocols.
• Liaise with external regulatory bodies and stay updated on changes in jewelry industry regulations and financial laws.
• Provide expert advisory support to management on compliance-related issues and emerging risks.
• Perform due diligence for high-value transactions and partnerships to safeguard the company’s interests.
• Conduct training sessions for staff to foster a culture of compliance and ethical business practices.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB), Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Proven proficiency in compliance management and a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills for assessing risks and improving internal financial controls.
• Solid knowledge of Finance and experience in Financial Services (highly preferred for retail compliance).
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Additional certifications in Compliance or Risk Management are considered a plus.
