Details of the Job/Internship
Vilas Transcore Limited is hiring a Safety and Legal Assistant with 1–2 years of experience to join their office in Vadodara.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and submitting documents for PGCL, environmental, fire safety, and explosive handling approvals.
- Coordinate with government bodies like PESO, PNGRB, CPCB/SPCB.
- Maintain a compliance calendar for licenses and clearances under Factory Act, Fire NOC, etc.
- Assist in reviewing legal documents and drafting replies to notices.
- Support the EHS team in preparing safety SOPs, hazard reports, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and project teams for regulatory tasks.
- Maintain records for audits, inspections, filings, and management reporting.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Environmental Science, or Industrial Safety.
- 1–2 years of experience in legal/compliance roles within a manufacturing or project-based setup.
- Familiarity with PGCL, PESO, PNGRB, MoEF&CC norms, and approval processes.
- Strong documentation and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and legal compliance portals.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001, industrial approvals, and greenfield projects preferred.
Salary/Stipend
