Details of the Job/Internship

Pema Wellness Retreat is hiring for the position of Security Associate to join their office in Vishakhapatnam.

Role and Responsibilities

• Access Control: Conduct frisking of visitors, staff, and contractors; verify identification; monitor CCTV; and ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises.
• Movement Records: Maintain accurate logs of guest and staff movement, documenting all entries and exits with proper details.
• Routine Patrols: Perform regular patrols of the property, inspecting entrances, exits, and vulnerable areas to uphold security standards.
• Incident Response: Respond swiftly to security incidents, including medical emergencies, disturbances, or breaches, and escalate/report to management as required.
• Guest & Staff Support: Provide assistance on safety-related inquiries, explain security protocols, and support general security needs of guests and staff.
• Emergency Preparedness: Remain familiar with evacuation procedures and assist in drills or real emergency situations.
• Policy Enforcement: Ensure compliance with retreat security measures and behavioral policies at all times.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed incident reports, access logs, and other security-related documentation for management.
• Lost & Found: Oversee the logging, safekeeping, and return of lost or unclaimed property.

Eligibility

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive situations.
• Ability to work independently with a proactive and vigilant approach to safety.

Salary/Stipend
