Details of the Job/Internship
Eagle Law and Equity LLP is hiring a Senior Associate – Litigation and two Junior Associates – Litigation to join their Mumbai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, petitions, written statements, affidavits, and applications.
- Conduct legal research and case analysis.
- Represent clients before various courts, especially Bombay Courts.
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts.
- Manage case files, deadlines, and hearing schedules.
- File applications and manage court procedures, both physically and online.
- Work on pan-India matters and travel for hearings as required.
Eligibility
Senior Associate – Litigation:
- Minimum 5 years of post-enrollment experience in litigation.
- Independent courtroom handling, especially in Bombay Courts.
- Excellent drafting and argumentation skills.
- Ability to supervise juniors and manage multiple matters simultaneously.
Junior Associate – Litigation:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in litigation.
- Exposure to Bombay Court proceedings.
- Strong research and drafting skills.
- Ability to work independently and under supervision.
General Requirements for All Roles:
- Bar Council Registration ID is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Marathi and English (spoken and written).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and online filing systems.
- Willingness to travel across India for client matters.
- A proactive attitude and a commitment to continuous professional growth.
