Details of the Job/Internship
EBG Group is hiring a Senior Advocate with 10 years of corporate legal experience to join its central office in Hyderabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, vet, negotiate, and finalise joint venture agreements, LOIs, MOUs, franchise and FOCO/FOFO agreements.
- Handle supplier, vendor, service, leasing, licensing, employment agreements, NDAs, term sheets, and addendums.
- Provide legal support for new ventures, acquisitions, franchising, and partnership expansions.
- Conduct legal due diligence and risk assessments for JV partners and asset acquisitions.
- Manage stamping, notarisation, digital execution, and record maintenance of agreements.
- Ensure compliance with company law, contract law, FDI norms, and sector-specific regulations.
- Coordinate with external counsels for litigation, disputes, and notices.
- Draft replies to legal notices, demand letters, and arbitration communications.
- Develop standard contract templates and guide internal teams on legal processes.
- Maintain a centralised database of legal documentation.
Eligibility
- LLB / LLM from a reputed law college.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate legal roles.
- Experience in diversified conglomerates, real estate, retail, franchising, or manufacturing sectors is preferred.
- Exposure to FOCO / FOFO and franchising models is an added advantage.
