Details of the Job/Internship
HP and Associates is hiring for the position of Senior Advocate with 0-3 years of experience to join their office in Thane.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting & Documentation: Prepare mortgage deeds, legal agreements, contracts, and related documentation.
- Mortgage Execution: Guide clients through mortgage deed execution and ensure compliance with required processes.
- Registration Handling: Manage filing and registration of mortgage deeds and related property documents with authorities.
- Bank Coordination: Liaise with nationalized and cooperative banks on legal documentation and approvals.
Property Due Diligence:
- Conduct property title verification
- Review sale deeds, gift deeds, partition deeds
- Identify encumbrances, disputes, and chain of title issues
- Legal Research: Stay updated on recent developments in property law and real estate regulations.
- Client Communication: Provide regular updates, address queries, and ensure smooth execution of legal transactions.
RERA Compliance:
- Understand Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016
- Review builder-buyer agreements and assist with project registrations
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside senior advocates, paralegals, and attend firm meetings and briefings.
- Learning & Development: Participate in ongoing legal training and development initiatives.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
- Enrolled with the Bar Council.
- 0–3 years of experience preferred in property law or financial documentation.
- Strong knowledge of property transactions, title scrutiny, and mortgage processes.
- Familiarity with RERA and r.elated real estate regulations.
- Proficient in legal drafting, document management, and client handling.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Comfortable with legal software and MS Office tools.
Salary/Stipend
₹2,00,000 – ₹5,00,000 per annum
