NRB Industrial Bearings Limited is hiring an Associate Lawyer with experience of 1–2 years for their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Independently manage civil, criminal, MSME, small-court, and property-related matters from initiation to conclusion.
• Draft pleadings, contracts, petitions, applications, notices, and agreements.
• Conduct legal research, prepare case notes, and analyze statutes, precedents, and relevant legal provisions.
• Represent clients before courts, tribunals, authorities, and quasi-judicial bodies.
• Handle case preparation including evidence collection, client interviews, document review, and brief drafting.
• Attend court hearings, client meetings, arbitration sessions, and negotiations.
• Maintain updated case files and ensure proper documentation.
• Provide legal opinions and guidance on compliance and regulatory matters.
• Coordinate with clients, government departments, enforcement agencies, and regulatory authorities.
• Stay updated on amendments, policy changes, and legal developments.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized university.
• Enrollment with the Bar Council and a valid license to practice.
• 1–2 years of experience in litigation or general legal practice.
• Strong research, drafting, analytical, communication, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage matters independently and work well within a team.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and legal research platforms.
• Preferred experience in civil and criminal litigation, property matters, MSME disputes, and small-court practice.
• Knowledge of legal frameworks, case management systems, and legal workflows.

Salary/Stipend
