Details of the Job/Internship

MedGenome Labs Ltd. is hiring a Senior Associate - Legal with over 4 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end closure of agreements, including negotiation, vetting, drafting, finalization, execution, and closing of Confidentiality Agreements/NDAs, master services agreements, and research agreements.
• Ensure contractual compliance under various agreements.
• Conduct legal research and provide legal opinions on business matters.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including outside legal counsel, to ensure timely closure of assignments, transactions, and agreements.
• Advise business teams and stakeholders on corporate legal issues.
• Provide additional legal support as determined by the manager.

Eligibility

• Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience as in-house counsel (preferably in pharmaceutical, diagnostics, or similar sectors) or in law firms focusing on general corporate matters.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations governing the pharmaceutical industry, company law, contract law, and intellectual property.
• Strong research, analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Sound legal and business judgment.
• Effective project management and prioritization skills.
• Educational Qualification: BA LLB/BSL LLB and/or LLM from a reputed law school.
