Details of the Job/Internship
Yubi is seeking a Senior Legal Associate with 3–6 years of experience to support legal and regulatory matters across its growing FinTech business to work with them at Mumbai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and negotiate service contracts, vendor agreements, NDAs, and tech partnerships.
- Provide legal advisory on transactions, compliance, and regulatory strategy.
- Draft templates, internal processes, and coordinate with external counsel.
- Manage debenture issuances, structured finance, and deal documentation.
- Conduct legal due diligence and oversee litigation if necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business goals.
- Deliver high-quality legal advice under tight deadlines.
- Develop internal compliance policies on risk, conflict of interest, and governance.
Eligibility
- LL.B. (mandatory), LL.M. (preferred).
- 3–6 years of legal experience, preferably in fintech, NBFCs, legal firms, or investment advisory firms.
- Deep understanding of data privacy laws, IT Act, regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating complex legal documents.
