Details of the Job/Internship

Altacit Global is hiring a Senior Associate/Advocate – IPR to join their office in Hyderabad. The role involves managing intellectual property portfolios, drafting and prosecuting patent and trademark applications, conducting research, advising clients on legal strategies, ensuring compliance, and supporting litigation and corporate matters.

Role and Responsibilities

• Prepare and file patent, trademark, copyright, and design applications in compliance with statutory requirements.
• Assist in developing IP protection strategies, portfolio management, and enforcement.
• Conduct research on intellectual property laws, precedents, and international regulations.
• Handle patent and trademark prosecution, oppositions, cancellations, and infringement actions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate IP-related agreements including licensing, assignments, confidentiality, and technology transfer agreements.
• Provide legal advice on corporate compliance, governance, and regulatory issues.
• Draft and review corporate agreements such as shareholder agreements, NDAs, service agreements, and joint venture agreements.
• Ensure compliance with domestic and international IP regulations and corporate laws.
• Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and provide legal solutions.
• Assist in IP litigation and corporate disputes, including preparing pleadings, evidence, and arguments.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law with a good academic record.
• Strong understanding of technical concepts and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple projects.

Salary/Stipend
