Details of the Job/Internship
IndiaLaw LLP is hiring a Senior Associate with 5–7 years of experience to join its Arbitration Team at the Mumbai (Fort) office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle arbitration matters from the pre-dispute advisory stage through arbitral proceedings and enforcement of awards.
- Draft and review arbitration-related documents, including pleadings, statements of claim and defence, rejoinders, applications, procedural submissions, and written arguments.
- Appear before arbitral tribunals, courts, and other relevant forums as required.
- Conduct detailed legal research on arbitration and dispute resolution issues.
- Assist partners with case strategy, hearing preparation, and client advisory.
- Coordinate with clients, arbitral tribunals, opposing counsel, and internal teams.
- Manage procedural aspects such as timelines, filings, compliance, and case documentation.
Eligibility
- LLB from a recognized university.
- 5–7 years of post-qualification experience in arbitration and dispute resolution.
- Strong drafting, research, and advocacy skills.
- Prior experience in independently handling arbitration matters preferred.
