Details of the Job/Internship

S&A Law Offices ("S&A") is hiring for the position of Senior Associate - Arbitration with 3 years of experience to join their Hyderabad office. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Independently handle civil and commercial litigation matters, or under supervision where required.
• Represent clients in both institutional and ad hoc arbitration proceedings.
• Draft pleadings, written statements, rejoinders, applications, legal notices, and other legal documents.
• Appear before various judicial and quasi-judicial forums, including Civil Courts, High Courts, Tribunals, and Arbitration Panels.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and assist in formulating case strategies and legal opinions.
• Collaborate with senior lawyers and partners on complex litigation and cross-border arbitration matters.
• Liaise with clients and external counsel, ensuring timely and clear communication regarding case progress.
• Maintain and manage case files, documentation, and court deadlines in an organized and efficient manner.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a recognized university; LL.M. preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in litigation and arbitration.
• In-depth understanding of the Civil Procedure Code, Arbitration & Conciliation Act, Indian Contract Act, and other relevant commercial laws.
• Strong legal drafting and written communication skills with excellent command of English.
• Ability to manage matters independently while also working effectively within a team.
• High attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and manage a dynamic caseload.

Salary/Stipend
