Details of the Job/Internship
AK Mylsamy & Associates LLP is hiring for a full-time on-site role as an Intellectual Property Senior Associate. The office is located in Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
The Senior Associate will be responsible for Buisness development, providing legal advisory, conducting research, drafting documents, participating in negotiations, and representing clients in IP board & court proceedings. The role will also involve interacting with clients, managing portfolios, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
- Conducting research, reading case files, and preparing notes
- Providing legal advice on the protection and enforcement of IP matters
- Drafting legal notices, replies, and submissions for filing at IP Boards & Courts
- Drafting, reviewing, and advising on IP agreements
- Representing clients in hearings before IP Boards & Courts
Eligibility
- Legal professional with a law degree from a recognized institution
- Strong knowledge of IP filings, particularly in trademark, design, and copyright
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- 6 years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE) in IP matters
- Previous experience in a law firm is mandatory
