upGrad is hiring for the position of Senior Associate - Contract with 2+ years of experience to join their office in Noida.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and review contracts with vendors and clients, with strong expertise in marketing, technology, and IP agreements.
- Independently manage agreements from initiation to closure, ensuring compliance with procedures.
- Interpret contracts and provide clear legal advice to business teams on rights and obligations.
- Develop and maintain legal templates for standard agreements.
- Monitor and assess changes in laws, ensuring applicability across business functions.
- Mentor and coach junior team members to build capability within the team.
- Coordinate with vendors, customers, and consultants, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate information sharing.
- Drive process automation and training initiatives to empower business teams and reduce routine legal dependencies.
- Maintain high performance under pressure while adhering to service-level agreements.
- Exhibit strong negotiation skills, business acumen, and the ability to balance legal and commercial considerations.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
