Details of the Job/Internship

Legasis Private Limited is hiring a Senior Associate–Corporate and Commercial Team with experience of 3 to 5 years to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• You will have the opportunity to work on corporate mandates and commercial transactions including M&A, private equity, cross-border deals, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and much more, across industries.
• Possessing adequate knowledge of securities laws, capital market, general corporate and commercial laws, and judicial pronouncements;
• Preparing legal opinions on intricate issues relating to securities laws and other incidental laws;
• Preparing and reviewing corporate and commercial agreements and documents;
• Assisting the team in transactions and deals;
• Possessing a ‘client-focused’ approach.

Eligibility

• PQE of a minimum 3-5 years of working in large or medium size law firms.
• LL.B (Bachelor of Legislative Law) degree from a recognized institution, either a five-year integrated program or a three-year program.
• Enrolled with the Bar Council of India to practice law.
• LL.M/ MSc. from a recognized institution (optional) 

Salary/Stipend
