Details of the Job/Internship

Salvors & Co. is hiring for the position of Senior Associate – Corporate Clientele to join their office in Chennai. They are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Associate to join their legal team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and overseeing legal matters, providing expert advice, and contributing to the growth and success of our firm.

Role and Responsibilities

 The roles and responsibilities are: 

• Legal Research and Analysis: 

 - Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on complex legal issues.
 - Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.
 - Provide strategic legal advice to clients and internal teams.

• Case Management: 

 - Manage a portfolio of cases across various practice areas.
 - Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and pleadings.
 - Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations.

• Client Interaction: 

 - Build and maintain strong client relationships.
 - Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
 - Provide timely and transparent updates on case progress.

Eligibility

1. The candidate must have done Law degree from a reputable law school.
2. Enrolled in the Bar Council.
3. There should be a minimum of 3 years of experience practicing law with a focus on corporate & and commercial matters or as in-house counsel in any corporate entity.

• Proven track record of successful case management and client representation.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
