Details of the Job/Internship

Saga Legal is hiring a Senior Associate – Corporate with 4+ years of experience to join their office in New Delhi. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements.
• Provide day-to-day legal advice to domestic and international clients across sectors.
• Advise on legal aspects of business operations, structuring, and commercial transactions.
• Guide clients on corporate governance and regulatory compliance under the Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI regulations, and other applicable laws.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities such as ROC, RBI, and MCA.
• Conduct legal due diligence and prepare due diligence reports.
• Draft and negotiate term sheets, shareholder agreements, share purchase agreements, and joint venture agreements.
• Advise on transaction structuring and execution of deals.
• Serve as the primary client contact and manage client relationships.
• Lead teams to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables while mentoring team members.

Eligibility

• Minimum 4+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and the ability to provide client-focused legal solutions.
• Ability to manage high-pressure situations and multiple complex matters simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for senior client engagement.
• Experience in team leadership, mentoring, and maintaining ethical standards.

Salary/Stipend
