Details of the Job/Internship

S.B. Jain & Associates is hiring for the position of Senior Associate- CS & Compliance with 3-5 years of experience to join their office in Delhi. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Ensure end-to-end compliance with the Companies Act, SEBI regulations, FEMA, and other applicable corporate laws.
• Draft, review, and manage Board Meeting and General Meeting documentation, including agendas, minutes, and resolutions.
• Oversee the incorporation of companies and LLPs, including preparation and filing of secretarial documents with ROC/MCA.
• Manage statutory filings and liaise with authorities such as MCA, SEBI, RBI, and ROC.
• Provide advisory services on corporate governance, legal structuring, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct legal research and assist in drafting opinions, internal policies, and compliance frameworks.
• Support M&A transactions, including due diligence and corporate restructuring activities.
• Coordinate with external counsels, auditors, and regulatory bodies as required.

Eligibility

• 3–5 years of experience in corporate secretarial and legal compliance roles.
• LLB and CS qualifications are preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Indian corporate laws, compliance procedures, and secretarial practices.
• Strong skills in legal drafting, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Proven ability to handle multiple responsibilities and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with law firms or corporate legal departments managing full-spectrum compliance will be an added advantage.
