Details of the Job/Internship
Legasis Private Limited is hiring a Sr. Associate – Data Governance with 2–4 years of experience to join their office in Pune. The role involves working within the legal and compliance domain to maintain compliance databases, monitor regulatory updates, conduct legal research, and support compliance and risk functions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance databases covering domestic and international regulations with accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor and analyse regulatory changes and integrate updates into compliance systems.
- Conduct legal research and due diligence to support compliance and risk functions.
- Implement industry best practices, company SOPs, policies, and codes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve escalations and ensure timely governance actions.
- Drive risk assessments, identify process gaps, and support improvement initiatives.
Eligibility
- 2–4 years of experience in the legal or compliance domain.
- LLB with Sanad; additional qualifications preferred.
- Knowledge of domestic and international regulations.
- Strong legal research and due diligence skills.
- Ability to monitor regulatory changes and integrate updates into compliance systems.
- Understanding of industry best practices, company SOPs, policies, and codes.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage escalations.
