Details of the Job/Internship

Sinha & Company, Advocates is hiring a Senior Associate for its Kolkata office to handle DRT and DRAT matters. The role involves independently managing banking and recovery disputes, drafting pleadings and submissions, coordinating with clients, and briefing senior counsel in matters before DRTs, DRATs, and related High Court proceedings.

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle matters before DRTs and DRATs, including connected High Court matters.
• Draft pleadings, appeals, applications, affidavits, and written submissions in banking and recovery disputes.
• Manage cases independently, including client coordination and briefing senior counsel.
• Use e-filing systems and legal documentation tools effectively.

Eligibility

• Experience in handling DRT and DRAT matters.
• Strong understanding of banking laws, recovery mechanisms, and procedural law.
• Proficiency in e-filing, cause list management, and legal documentation tools.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.

Salary/Stipend
