Details of the Job/Internship
Areness is hiring a Senior Associate - General Corporate with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience to join their office in Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting and vetting of contracts for transactions, business takeovers, service, employment, etc.
- Drafting of legal opinions for establishment of businesses in India and other countries.
- Providing opinions on regulatory frameworks and applicable rules and regulations for specific businesses.
- Handling compliance and licensing matters.
- Managing a team of interns, associates, and paralegals.
- Assisting cross-functional teams in growth strategies.
- Counseling clients and rendering legal advice on various subject matters.
- Drafting and preparing content for articles, blogs, research articles, and research papers.
Eligibility
- Graduate/Postgraduate/Doctorate Degree in Law from any recognised institution in India.
- At least 5 years of experience post eligible qualification.
- Knowledge of research tools such as SCC, Manupatra, AIR, etc.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and organizational skills.
- Ability to identify statutes and regulations applicable to the given legal issue.
