Details of the Job/Internship
RB Lawcorp is hiring a GST Senior Associate with experience of 5–8 years to join their office in Sector 18, Noida.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle GST litigation matters exclusively.
- Manage client relationships and communication.
- Draft replies to notices, appeals, and writ petitions under GST law.
- Lead and manage a team of 2–4 associates.
- Travel across India for litigation before departmental authorities, tribunals, and High Courts.
- Coordinate with in-house and outsourced attorneys handling matters.
- Prepare briefs for Senior Advocates.
- Assist clients during enquiries, investigations, searches, and audits.
- Manage multiple client matters and take independent responsibility for smaller clients.
- Build rapport with client legal, tax, and finance teams.
- Identify opportunities for existing clients and communicate them to seniors.
- Network internally to understand issues impacting clients.
- Stay updated on developments in GST law.
- Use Excel for lookups, pivot tables, and reconciliations.
Eligibility
- LL.B. with preference for candidates holding CA, CS, CMA, or MBA in Finance.
- Law graduates with a strong academic record from recognised law colleges such as NLU, DU, Symbiosis, GLC, NMIMS, or equivalent institutions.
- 5–8 years of experience in GST litigation.
- Excellent communication, drafting, analytical, and research skills.
- Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented.
- Flexibility to work on weekends when required.
