Details of the Job/Internship

Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorneys is hiring Associate and Senior Associate – GST Advisory & Litigation with 1–5 years of experience to join their Pune office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of legal provisions.
• Draft advisory notes, legal opinions, and compliance reports.
• Prepare presentations for client meetings, trainings, and seminars.
• Analyse client data to assess tax impact on business transactions.
• Develop tax-efficient business models through scenario analysis.
• Contribute to articles, monographs, and technical publications.
• Handle client service delivery and execution independently for smaller clients.
• Prepare submissions, replies to notices, appeals, and represent clients before authorities.
• Coordinate with seniors during hearings and appellate proceedings.
• Manage multiple clients and build relationships with middle management.
• Identify business opportunities and network internally and externally.
• Maintain and update legal databases with recent developments.
• Mentor Associates and guide them in their work.

Eligibility

• Chartered Accountant, preferably first-attempt, with a strong academic record.
• 1–5 years of post-qualification experience in indirect tax advisory or litigation.
• Excellent English communication skills with strong verbal fluency.
• Good professional personality and client-facing capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.

Salary/Stipend
