Details of the Job/Internship

Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan attorneys is hiring a Senior Associate - Indirect Tax with 2-4 years of experience to join their office in Pune. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of GST provisions and related laws.
• Draft advisories, opinions, compliance reports, replies, and submissions.
• Prepare and deliver client presentations, training materials, and seminar content.
• Analyze client data to assess tax implications and business impact.
• Build tax-efficient business models and scenarios.
• Contribute articles, monographs, and knowledge resources on GST developments.
• Manage client delivery, identify issues proactively, and mitigate firm risks.
• Represent clients before tax authorities and appellate forums along with seniors.
• Independently handle smaller client mandates while supporting larger engagements.
• Develop strong client relationships and mentor junior associates
• Stay updated with the latest notifications, circulars, and judicial precedents.
• Identify opportu.nities for growth within existing client accounts and support business development.

Eligibility

• CA (preferably 1st attempt) or LL.B. from a reputed law school with a strong academic record.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English (fluency is a must).
• 2–4 years of post-qualification experience in Indirect Tax (Advisory & Litigation).
• Strong academic foundation, analytical ability, and professional presence.

Salary/Stipend
