Details of the Job/Internship
Tempus Law Associates is hiring a Senior Associate for its Intellectual Property practice with 3–5 years of experience.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise on registration of designs, patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
- Conduct research before filing IP registrations.
- Advise clients on brand adoption and trademark registration in India and abroad.
- Vet contracts, documents, and handle IP/Trademark-related legal matters.
- Provide legal advice on IP litigation, including consumer, civil, and criminal cases.
- Draft and vet IPR-related clauses in distributor, franchise, and technical collaboration agreements.
- Prepare and review IPR agreements such as technology licenses and trademark/domain name documents.
- Draft legal notices and affidavits for infringement and opposition proceedings.
- File and manage Design/Patent/TM applications, oppositions, and renewals.
- Advise on IP disputes, respond to notices, and liaise with clients and counsel.
- Conduct webinars and seminars on IP and Trademark issues.
Eligibility
- Registered or licensed Patent Agent.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of patent laws, searches, and landscaping.
- Experience in patent screening, drafting, and report writing.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
