Details of the Job/Internship
Puri & Puri (Advocates) is hiring a Senior Associate – IP Litigation for their Delhi office. This role requires a professional with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience who can manage litigation portfolios independently.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle Intellectual Property litigation matters, specifically focusing on trademarks, copyrights, designs, and passing off or infringement suits.
- Draft and vet complex legal documents, including plaints, written statements, rejoinders, interim applications, and appeals.
- Manage filings and responses such as oppositions and counter-statements within the IP registration framework.
- Appear before the Delhi High Court, District Courts, Commercial Courts, and specialized IP offices.
- Advise clients on IP enforcement strategies, providing detailed risk assessments and dispute resolution options.
- Conduct exhaustive legal research to prepare and execute comprehensive case strategies.
- Manage matters independently while coordinating with junior associates and maintaining client relationships
Eligibility
- Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) specifically in IP Litigation.
- Proven track record of appearing before the Delhi High Court and Commercial Courts.
- Strong expertise in drafting and vetting IP-related pleadings.
- Demonstrated ability to manage legal teams and client expectations independently.
