Details of the Job/Internship
King Stubb & Kasiva, Advocates & Attorneys is hiring a Senior Associate IP with experience of 5 to 7 years to join their office in New Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- IP Prosecution & Oppositions: Handle trademark filings, prosecution, and opposition proceedings, as well as advice on trademark availability and infringement.
- IP Litigation & Enforcement: Represent clients in IP-related litigation (trademarks, copyrights, patents) and criminal enforcement actions such as copyright infringement.
- Legal Advisory: Provide strategic guidance on IP protection, portfolio management, licensing, and commercialization of IP rights.
- Drafting & Documentation: Draft and negotiate IP contracts, including licensing and assignment agreements.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain client relationships, offering proactive, tailored legal solutions.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior associates and contribute to the growth of the IP practice.
Eligibility
- LLB or equivalent with a focus on Intellectual Property law.
- 5-7 years of experience in IP law, including prosecution, opposition, litigation, and enforcement.
- Experience in managing cases before High Courts, District Courts, and the Trademark Registry.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and client management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
