Details of the Job/Internship
India Law Offices LLP is hiring a Senior Associate – Litigation & Corporate Law with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience to join their office in New Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Independently represent clients before District Courts, High Courts, tribunals, commissions, and other authorities.
- Strategise, draft, and vet pleadings including petitions, writs, affidavits, appeals, applications, notices, and complaints.
- Manage end-to-end litigation processes including filings and execution proceedings.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and provide strategic guidance.
- Supervise junior associates and interns on drafting and research.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and transactional documents including SPAs, SHAs, JV agreements, and transfer agreements.
- Advise on Contract Law, Companies Act, FEMA, and related regulatory frameworks.
- Support mergers, demergers, restructuring, and other transaction advisory matters.
- Oversee corporate secretarial and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Liaise with government departments and regulatory authorities for approvals and filings.
Eligibility
- Graduate or Post-Graduate in Law from a reputed institution such as an NLU, Symbiosis Law School, Jindal Global Law School, GLC (Mumbai), or Campus Law Centre (Delhi).
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience as a practicing advocate.
- Strong analytical, drafting, and legal reasoning skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Demonstrated commitment to long-term career growth within a law firm environment.
