Details of the Job/Internship
White & Brief – Advocates and Solicitors is hiring a Senior Associate with a minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience to join their litigation team in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Appear before district courts, High Courts, tribunals, and arbitral forums.
- Visit police stations and interact with law enforcement authorities.
- Handle end-to-end litigation including civil disputes, criminal matters, and arbitration proceedings.
- Draft and review pleadings, complaints, petitions, affidavits, notices, applications, and arbitration claims/responses.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies, notes, and legal opinions.
- Coordinate with clients, external counsel, and regulatory or enforcement authorities.
- Manage hearings, filings, procedural compliance, and case progress.
- Contribute to internal knowledge-building and mentor junior associates, where required.
Eligibility
- LLB from a recognised university; enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
- Minimum 4 years of litigation experience post-qualification.
- Prior exposure across civil, criminal, and arbitration matters.
- Strong drafting, research, and oral advocacy skills.
- Proficiency in speaking and reading Marathi.
- Ability to manage cases independently.
- Professional, reliable, and proactive approach.
