Details of the Job/Internship
White & Brief - Advocates and Solicitors is hiring for the position of Senior Associate Lawyer with 4 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Appear before District Courts, High Courts, tribunals, and arbitral forums.
- Visit police stations and liaise with law enforcement authorities as required.
- Manage end-to-end litigation including pleadings, evidence, hearings, and compliance.
- Draft and review complaints, petitions, affidavits, notices, applications, and arbitration claims/responses.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies, briefs, and legal opinions.
- Coordinate with clients, external counsel, and regulatory/enforcement bodies.
- Ensure timely filings, procedural adherence, and overall case progress.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and mentor junior associates when necessary.
Eligibility
- LLB from a recognised university; enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
- Minimum 4 years of post-qualification litigation experience.
- Proven exposure to civil, criminal, and arbitration matters.
- Strong drafting, research, and oral advocacy skills.
- Proficiency in spoken and written Marathi (mandatory).
- Ability to manage cases independently and take full ownership.
- Professional, reliable, and proactive approach to client service and courtroom practice.
