Details of the Job/Internship

Tesco is hiring a Senior Associate - Legal Counsel Property to oversee real estate legal matters, including contract negotiation, title due diligence, and compliance with UK property laws.

Role and Responsibilities

• Negotiate, draft, and review various UK property contracts, including leases, tenancy agreements, and licenses.
• Conduct title due diligence and reporting.
• Work closely with Tesco Property and Legal teams to ensure timely delivery of legal real estate matters with proper risk assessment.
• Collaborate with external law firms to share knowledge, implement best practices, and ensure smooth legal service delivery.

Eligibility

• Law degree (LL.B.) from a recognized institution.
• Experience in UK property law and real estate contracts.
• Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating UK property contracts, such as Leases, Tenancy at Will, Licenses, Rent Deposit Deeds, and NDAs.
