Infosys is hiring a Senior Associate Legal Counsel (UK Contracts Team) with experience of 3 years to join their office in Mumbai / Bangalore.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in protecting the company’s legal interests and ensuring legal compliance.
- Analyze legal and commercial risks and present clear recommendations.
- Draft commercial agreements such as Master Service Agreements, Alliance Agreements, License Agreements, and other relevant contracts.
- Review proposals, assist in preparing proposals, and respond to tenders and RFPs.
- Participate in negotiations with customers and vendors while ensuring compliance with internal contracting and risk mitigation requirements.
- Undertake legal advisory functions related to corporate compliance.
- Track laws and regulations relevant to the company’s business and policies.
- Provide legal advice to executive staff across levels.
Eligibility
- BA LLB or Master’s in Law from a reputed law school with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Basic knowledge of key legal principles across practice areas, including contracts and intellectual property.
- Good drafting skills in legal documentation.
- Knowledge of legal research methodology and analysis.
- Basic understanding of market trends and financial aspects relevant to the IT industry.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team player with good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to apply logical reasoning while addressing issues.
