Details of the Job/Internship
Infosys is hiring a Legal Counsel – Mergers & Acquisitions with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience to join their office in Bangalore.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support Infosys’ M&A, investment, and other corporate development activities from a legal perspective.
- Review, draft, and negotiate transaction documentation, including term sheets, definitive agreements, and closing documents.
- Assist with cross-border M&A transactions and coordinate with external counsel to ensure global regulatory compliance.
- Lead M&A transactions from inception through to closing.
Eligibility
- Minimum 2+ years of post-qualification experience in M&A.
- Corporate legal experience involving mergers and acquisitions.
- Strong experience in drafting and negotiating M&A transactions.
- Ability to lead transaction closings and handle due diligence.
- Excellent attention to detail.
