Details of the Job/Internship
Infosys is hiring a Senior Associate Legal Counsel with experience of 2-6 years to join their offices in Bengaluru or Pune.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in protecting the company’s legal interests and ensuring legal compliance.
- Analyze legal and commercial risk issues and present recommendations.
- Draft commercial agreements such as Vendor Service Agreements, License or SAAS Agreements, and Alliance Agreements.
- Review and assist in preparing proposals and responding to tenders and RFPs.
- Participate in negotiations with customers and vendors, ensuring compliance with internal requirements and risk mitigation.
- Advise on general corporate compliance and track relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide legal counsel to executive staff across levels.
Eligibility
- BA (LLB) or Master’s in Law from a reputed law school.
- 2 to 6 years of experience.
- Basic knowledge of key principles and terminology in legal practice areas such as contracts and intellectual property.
- Strong drafting skills.
- Knowledge of legal research methodology and ability to deliver relevant legal advice.
- Understanding of market trends and financial practices related to the legal side of the IT industry is an added advantage.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a team, learn continuously, and apply logical reasoning.
