Details of the Job/Internship

InMobi Advertising is hiring a Senior Associate-Legal Counsel with experience of 3 to 4 years to join their office in Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting and reviewing various legal and commercial agreements including negotiating and ensuring closure of such agreements.
• Coordinating with external counsels, advisors, and consultants for handling commercial transactions and advisories. Coordinating with internal teams for the end-to-end closure of the transactions.
• Handling employment-related matters, such as providing internal advisories and assisting with the interpretation and implementation of various labor laws.
• Advising internal stakeholders on general statutory compliances and handling disputes (drafting and/or replying to legal notices etc.).
• Assisting in the development, onboarding, implementation, and administration of systems and processes to ensure contracts executed with employees, business partners, sourcing vendors, and contractors comply with legal and In Mobi policy requirements.
• Leading and drove changes in contracts-related processes, developing templates and/or tools for a diverse range of agreements, such as consulting agreements, data processing agreements, publisher, advertiser, data partnerships, agency, marketing and vendor agreements.
• Assisting with general legal/risk mitigation advisories and compliance activities to multi-functional teams on miscellaneous matters, such as security, government compliance, finance, privacy, and regulatory issues.

Eligibility

• Law graduate from India, having approximately 3-4 years of work experience in-house or at law firms;
• Experience in providing legal support to IT, engineering, or internet-based organizations (preferably in the ad-tech space);
• Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills;
• A focus on ethics, personal integrity, intellectual curiosity, and innovative thinking;
• There will be a preference for someone who has knowledge and experience in dealing with contracts, commercial, privacy, and employment laws and practices at a global level, primarily in the North American regions.
• Collaborative and solutions-oriented.
• Keeping up to date with applicable local laws and regulations as well as relevant laws in the North American region.

Salary/Stipend
