Details of the Job/Internship
InMobi Advertising is hiring a Senior Associate – Legal Counsel with 3 to 4 years of experience to join their Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize legal and commercial agreements.
- Coordinate with external counsels, advisors, and consultants on commercial transactions.
- Work with internal teams to ensure end-to-end closure of legal matters.
- Handle employment-related legal matters, including labor law compliance and advisories.
- Provide guidance on statutory compliance and manage legal disputes, including drafting/replying to legal notices.
- Develop and implement legal processes to ensure compliance with company policies and contractual requirements.
- Drive improvements in contract management, including developing templates and tools for agreements (e.g., consulting, data processing, marketing, vendor agreements).
- Offer risk mitigation and legal advisory support on matters like security, finance, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
Eligibility
- Law graduate from India with 3-4 years of experience as in-house counsel or at a law firm.
- Experience supporting IT, engineering, or internet-based businesses, preferably in the ad-tech space.
- Strong legal drafting, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ethical, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to legal challenges.
- Knowledge of contracts, commercial law, privacy, and employment laws, with a preference for experience in North American legal frameworks.
- Ability to stay updated on local and international laws affecting business operations.
