Details of the Job/Internship

CoolBoots Media is hiring a Senior Associate – Legal & Data Privacy with experience of 2–3 years to join their office in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate agreements including MSAs, SaaS or subscription licenses, Data Protection Agreements (DPAs), SLAs, NDAs, and vendor contracts.
• Provide legal advice on global privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and DPDPA.
• Review and modify contractual templates to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with corporate obligations.
• Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, IT, and Finance to streamline contract processes.
• Draft legal notices and counter-notices when required.
• Maintain detailed legal records and provide analytical support for business projects and legal research.

Eligibility

• LL.B., LL.M., or BA LL.B. (Hons.) degree.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel.
• Strong experience in the software or digital industry with knowledge of technology contracts.
• Experience with data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and DPDPA.
• CIPP certification is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Salary/Stipend
