Meesho is hiring a Senior Associate – Legal & Secretarial with 1–2 years of post-qualification experience to join its legal and secretarial team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance under the Companies Act, SEBI, FEMA, and other applicable laws.
- Draft agendas, minutes, and notices for Board, Committee, and General Meetings.
- Assist in preparing statutory reports such as the Director’s Report, Annual Reports, and other governance documents.
- Support the convening of Board, Committee, and General Meetings for the company and its subsidiaries.
- Handle audits (quarterly, half-yearly, and annual), shareholder matters, and coordination with RTAs and depositories.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for secretarial and compliance matters.
Eligibility
- Qualified Company Secretary with 1–2 years of post-qualification experience in listed company secretarial functions.
- Hands-on experience in IPO readiness, due diligence, corporate governance, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of the Companies Act 2013, SEBI, and FEMA regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Strong multitasking and coordination skills.
- Prior experience in M&A preferred.
