Details of the Job/Internship
AgroStar is hiring a Legal – Contracts & Compliance professional with experience of 2+ years to join their team in Pune.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of contracts, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, execution, and renewals.
- Maintain contract repositories and trackers to ensure timely compliance and amendments.
- Support corporate governance compliance under the Companies Act and internal policies.
- Oversee implementation and monitoring of governance frameworks, including ESG, ABAC, and AML.
- Lead DPDP implementation, including privacy policies, consent frameworks, SOPs, and vendor DPAs.
- Provide legal support for regulatory queries, audits, due diligence, and internal reviews.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognised institution.
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in-house.
- Strong understanding of contracts, corporate law, and compliance.
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability and mindset to build and enhance legal functions.
- Passion for working at the grassroots level and driving impact in the agriculture sector.
