Details of the Job/Internship

MedGenome Labs Ltd. is hiring a Senior Associate - Legal with 4+ years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage the entire contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing a wide range of agreements such as NDAs, Master Service Agreements, research collaborations, and vendor contracts.
• Ensure ongoing contractual compliance and risk mitigation across agreements.
• Conduct legal research and provide well-reasoned legal opinions on corporate, contractual, and regulatory matters affecting the business.
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders, including legal counsel, to facilitate timely resolution of legal and transactional matters.
• Advise business teams and leadership on general corporate legal matters, helping to shape strategy and ensure compliance.
• Support other legal and regulatory initiatives and projects as assigned by the legal manager.

Eligibility

• Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience as an in-house counsel (preferably in the pharmaceutical, diagnostics, or allied sectors) or in a reputed law firm with a focus on general corporate work.
• Strong understanding of corporate and contract law; familiarity with pharmaceutical and healthcare industry regulations is a plus.
• Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication abilities (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive, self-driven individual with good business judgment and a collaborative mindset.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced environment.
