MedGenome is hiring for the position of Senior Associate - Legal with 4 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle—negotiation, drafting, reviewing, finalization, execution, and closure (including NDAs, MSAs, research agreements, etc.).
- Ensure contractual compliance across agreements.
- Conduct legal research and provide business-focused legal opinions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel to ensure timely closure of transactions, agreements, and other legal matters.
- Advise and strategize with business teams on a wide range of corporate legal issues.
- Provide additional legal support as required by the manager.
Eligibility
- Minimum 4+ years PQE as in-house counsel (preferably in Pharmaceuticals, Diagnostics, or related sectors) or in a law firm handling general corporate matters.
- Strong understanding of company law, contract law, and intellectual property, with knowledge of industry-specific regulations.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, research, and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication with good stakeholder management.
- Business-oriented mindset with sound legal and commercial judgement.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Effective project management and prioritization skills.
- BA LLB / BSL LLB and/or LLM from a reputed law school.
