Meesho is hiring a Senior Associate – Legal to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including vendor, distribution, service, licensing, and SaaS/technology agreements.
- Conduct legal research on corporate, commercial, and regulatory issues and provide practical advice.
- Assist in corporate governance and compliance under applicable laws including the Companies Act, FEMA, and SEBI regulations.
- Support due diligence and documentation in corporate transactions such as investments, mergers, and restructurings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align contract and compliance processes.
- Track regulatory updates and summarize implications for stakeholders.
- Develop and refine templates, playbooks, and internal policies for efficient contract management.
Eligibility
- Strong foundation in corporate and commercial law with hands-on experience in commercial contracting and compliance.
- Excellent drafting and legal research skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate legal concepts in a business-friendly manner.
- High ownership, responsiveness, and ability to manage multiple assignments.
- Good stakeholder management, communication skills, analytical thinking, and a solution-oriented mindset.
