Details of the Job/Internship
Northern Arc Capital is hiring a Senior Associate – Legal with 3–5 years of experience to join their office in Chennai. The role involves documentation, review, and negotiation of debt capital market transactions, loans, guarantees, structured finance transactions, service contracts, and fund documentation.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage documentation, review, and negotiation for debt capital market transactions, loans, guarantees, and structured finance deals.
- Prepare and vet service contracts and fund documentation.
- Provide high-quality legal advice and assistance.
- Manage transaction documentation from inception through settlement.
- Handle transactions for group companies on both asset and liability sides.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal functions and external clients.
Eligibility
- 3–5 years of experience in banks, large financial institutions, or law firms.
- Familiarity with RBI and SEBI regulations.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with sound business acumen.
