Details of the Job/Internship
Northern Arc Capital is hiring for the position of Senior Associate - Legal with 3-7 years of experience to join their office in Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documentation related to:
- Debt capital market transactions
- Loan and guarantee agreements
- Structured finance transactions
- Service contracts
- Fund-related documentation
- Ensure compliance with applicable RBI and SEBI regulations.
- Deliver high-quality and efficient legal advice across all stages of the transaction lifecycle—from structuring to settlement.
- Take ownership and independently manage transaction documentation.
- Demonstrate strong business acumen and excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
- Support both asset-side and liability-side transactions of group companies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments.
- Liaise with external clients, legal advisors, and counterparties.
Eligibility
- 3–7 years of post-qualification experience in banking, NBFCs, financial institutions, or top-tier law firms.
- Familiarity with Indian financial regulatory frameworks and market practices.
