Details of the Job/Internship

Purple Style Labs is hiring a Senior Associate Legal with experience of 2 to 5 years to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• The role entails engaging with all stakeholders in the business of the Company including investors, designers, business partners and with government and quasi-government authorities.
• Drafting investment documents for incoming investors as well as investments made by the company.
• Prepare, draft, review, negotiate and advise on different commercial agreements including agreements with designers, vendors, business collaborations, lease/leave and license agreements, and other commercial agreements.
• Draft legal notices and responses to customer complaints, and provide advice on pre-litigation strategies for effective dispute resolution.
• Manage day-to-day legal activities including contracts, corporate governance, disputes, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, tax, etc.
• Collaborate with the marketing, customer relations, operations, merchandising, talent, and finance teams and advising on legal matters associated with the business operations.
• Researching laws and regulations applicable to the company/business and advising on appropriate legal action.
• Overseeing compliances and advising on corporate law matters.
• Liaising with external counsels both domestic and foreign.

Eligibility

• 2-5 years PQE in law firms and/or as an in-house counsel with experience in corporate law.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to identify and resolve complex legal, regulatory, and business issues.
• Ability to anticipate issues and assess risks strategically, identify proactive solutions that will eliminate or mitigate risks and achieve commercial objectives.
• Must have the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
